8K HDMI 2.1 cable technology is what separates a display that merely turns on from one that shows everything your source device can actually output. The Dtech DT-H8030 is a 48Gbps, HDMI 2.1-certified copper cable built for the next generation of TVs, monitors, gaming consoles, and AV equipment — without the bandwidth bottlenecks that older HDMI 2.0 cables can’t get past.
Most HDMI cables on the market are still rated for HDMI 2.0’s 18Gbps ceiling, which caps out well below what modern 8K and high-refresh 4K sources need. This cable is rated for the full 48Gbps HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, so it can carry:
Bandwidth on a spec sheet only matters if the cable can hold the signal without loss. The DT-H8030 uses a pure copper core with gold-plated connectors for corrosion resistance and consistent contact, wrapped in multi-layer shielding — including a magnesium-aluminium braided mesh — that reduces electromagnetic interference, the usual cause of dropped signal, flickering, or HDCP handshake errors on long or budget cables. The outer jacket is braided PVC over a cotton mesh layer for pull and bend resistance, and the connector housing uses a zinc-alloy shell built for repeated plug/unplug cycles at the back of a TV, console, or AV rack without the pins wearing loose. It’s backed by a 1-year warranty.
This is a copper HDMI 2.1 cable, available in lengths from 0.5m up to 8m, so you can size it to the actual gap between your source and display — a short 0.5m–1m run for consoles sitting right next to the TV, or up to 8m for a wall-mounted display, a media cabinet across the room, or a home theatre rack. (Note: copper HDMI cables lose signal integrity over long runs; if you need to go beyond 8m, look at our 8K HDMI 2.1 Fiber Optic Cable instead — a fibre-optic AOC cable that holds full 8K/4K120 bandwidth over much longer distances than copper can.)
One Dtech DT-H8030 HDMI 2.1 cable, HDMI Male to Male, in your selected length.
Is this cable backward compatible with HDMI 2.0 devices? Yes. It works with any HDMI-equipped device; on HDMI 2.0 sources or displays, it will simply run at HDMI 2.0 speeds since bandwidth is capped by the weakest link in the chain.
What’s the maximum length available for this cable? This copper 8K HDMI 2.1 cable is available up to 8m. For longer distances, a fibre-optic or extender solution is recommended to maintain signal integrity.
Does it support VRR and ALLM for gaming? Yes, provided your source and display both support these HDMI 2.1 features (most current-gen consoles and gaming TVs do).
Will this cable actually output full 8K, or is that theoretical? The cable is rated for the 48Gbps bandwidth 8K@60Hz requires. Actual 8K output also depends on your source device and display both supporting 8K — the cable won’t bottleneck that connection.
