The DTECH DT-7053MS is a reliable HDMI extender over Cat6 60m that transmits Full HD 1080p@60Hz video and audio through a single Cat5e or Cat6 network cable. With built-in IR return support, plug-and-play installation, and no drivers required, it is the ideal HDMI extension solution for classrooms, boardrooms, hotel rooms, and retail displays where remote source control matters. The transmitter and receiver are included in the box.
Standard HDMI cables degrade beyond 10–15 metres. This HDMI extender over Cat6 60m solves that by routing a full HD signal through Cat5e or Cat6 structured cabling — the same cable already installed in most offices and commercial buildings across the UAE. No extra cable runs, no new infrastructure, no specialist installation.
Cat6 cabling handles the full 1080p@60Hz signal cleanly across the entire 60-metre run, and the DT-7053MS also accepts Cat5e for flexibility in buildings with older cabling standards. If your building is already wired, this extender simply connects to it.
IR Return Support The standout feature of the DT-7053MS is built-in IR return — something basic extenders do not include. An IR sensor at the receiver unit picks up remote control signals and relays them back to the source device. This means your set-top box, media player, or Blu-ray player can sit in a locked equipment cupboard 60 metres away, while you operate it normally with a remote at the screen end. No separate IR extender kit needed.
1080p@60Hz Full HD Delivers full-speed 1080p@60Hz video over the complete 60-metre distance. At 60 frames per second, the output is smooth and sharp — suitable for presentations, live video, broadcast content, and digital signage.
Cat5e and Cat6 Compatible This HDMI extender over Cat6 60m accepts both Cat5e and Cat6 cabling. Whether your installation uses older Cat5e or more recent Cat6 runs, the DT-7053MS works with both without adapters or configuration changes.
Plug-and-Play — No Drivers Needed Connect the TX unit to your HDMI source, run the Cat5e/6 cable to the display location, connect the RX, and power on. Signal appears immediately — no software, no drivers, no setup menus.
Wide Source Compatibility Compatible with any HDMI source device including PC, laptop, set-top box, Blu-ray/DVD player, media player, gaming console, and NVR/DVR systems. Works with any HDMI display.
Compact TX and RX Included Both units are small and easy to mount in equipment racks, behind screens, or inside AV furniture. Cat5e/Cat6 cable is sold separately.
The DT-7053MS is widely deployed across UAE residential and commercial AV installations:

What is the difference between the DT-7053MS and the DT-7009C? The DTECH DT-7009C HDMI Extender 50m supports 50 metres over Cat6 only and has no IR return. The DT-7053MS reaches 60 metres, supports Cat5e and Cat6, and includes IR return for remote source control — the better choice wherever you need to operate a source device from the screen end.
Does the DT-7053MS support 4K? No — it transmits 1080p@60Hz Full HD. For 4K extension or distances beyond 60m, see the DTECH DT-7043 HDMI IP Extender 120m, or browse the full Video Extender range.
Can I control my source device from the receiver end? Yes — the built-in IR return relays remote signals back to the TX. Contact us if you need help setting up IR for your specific source device.
