The DTECH DT-7050(2nd) is a high-performance HDMI IP KVM Extender 150m that transmits Full HD 1080p@60Hz video alongside USB keyboard, mouse, and IR control signals over a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable. Built on an IP-based architecture, it supports both point-to-point and point-to-multipoint distribution, and can extend further still via a network switch or router. It is the longest-range KVM extender in the DTECH lineup — engineered for large-scale AV and IT control installations where 100m simply isn’t enough. Transmitter and receiver included.
Standard KVM extenders run a direct dedicated cable from transmitter to receiver. An IP-based extender like the DT-7050 uses TCP/IP protocol, which unlocks a wider set of capabilities. The 150m over direct Cat5e/Cat6 is the baseline — by routing through a network switch or router, the signal can travel further, or be distributed to multiple display endpoints simultaneously.
This makes the DT-7050 the right choice when you need a single source feeding multiple display points, extension beyond 150m using existing network infrastructure, or integration with a building network without pulling new dedicated cabling.
USB Keyboard and Mouse Control at 150m Two USB ports on the receiver accept a keyboard and mouse. Inputs are relayed to the source device in real time over the Cat5e/6 cable — operate a server, PC, or DVR/NVR from 150 metres away with the same responsiveness as being directly at the machine. No VNC, no RDP, no software.
1080p@60Hz Full HD Video Over IP H.264-compressed video delivers sharp, stable 1080p@60Hz output across the full 150-metre run. Compatible with any HDMI source: PC, laptop, server, NVR, DVR, set-top box, or media player.
Point-to-Multipoint via Switch/Router Unlike direct-run extenders, the DT-7050’s IP architecture lets you route through a standard network switch to feed multiple displays from one source — ideal for multi-screen control rooms, digital signage networks, and campus installations where one source serves several display points simultaneously.
IR Return Built-in IR return sends remote control signals from the receiver back to the source device. Operate a set-top box or media player at the source end using a remote control at the screen end.
Cascading for Large-Scale Distribution Multiple receivers can be cascaded for wide-area installations. Combined with switch-based routing, the DT-7050 scales well beyond what any direct point-to-point cable extender can achieve.
Cat5e and Cat6 Compatible Runs over standard Cat5e or Cat6 structured cabling already installed in most UAE commercial and institutional buildings. No specialist AV cabling required.

How does the DT-7050 differ from the DT-7054A? The DTECH DT-7054A HDMI USB KVM Extender 100m is a direct-run point-to-point extender at 100m. The DT-7050(2nd) is IP-based at 150m with point-to-multipoint capability — the right choice when you need a longer run or one source feeding multiple displays.
What if I need 150m without KVM? The DTECH DT-7043(QCW) HDMI IP Extender 150m delivers the same 150m IP-based range at AED 295, without keyboard and mouse control. Choose the DT-7050 when remote computer operation is required.
Can it go beyond 150m? Yes — routing through a network switch or router extends the range. Browse the full Video Extender range or contact us for advice on larger installations.
