PRODUCT SHORT DESCRIPTION
Extend your RS485 network in two directions from one master. The DTECH DT-9022 2 port RS485 hub is built for industrial sites, with 2500 VRMS isolation, surge and ESD protection on every line, and a wide 9–40V DC input.
The DTECH DT-9022 2 port RS485 hub lets one master device reach two separate RS485 branches, so you can extend and restructure a serial network without rewiring the whole bus. Its main port accepts RS232 or RS485, and each branch connects on screw terminals. It has 2500 VRMS isolation, surge and ESD protection on every line, a wide 9–40V DC power input and a -40°C to 85°C operating range. It’s built for the plant rooms, cabinets and outdoor enclosures where industrial networks are installed.
RS485 networks are usually wired as a single daisy-chain bus. That works until the site grows, or until a new device needs to be added in a different direction from the existing cable run. This 2 port RS485 hub splits the network into two branches from one master port. That gives you more flexible wiring and a cleaner layout for building management, energy metering and industrial control systems.
System integrators, MEP and electrical contractors, facility management teams and industrial engineers use an RS485 hub wherever one controller needs to reach devices spread across a site. Typical applications include:
| Brand / Model | DTECH DT-9022 |

| Dimensions | 120 x 80 x 25 mm |
On RS485, the lower the baud rate, the further you can run the cable, so long runs across a site work best at 9600 or 19200 baud. Use shielded twisted-pair cable and wire each branch as a straight bus rather than a star. Fit termination resistors at the far end of long lines, and earth the shield at one point only to avoid ground loops. It connects one master device to two separate RS485 branches, so you can wire a network in two directions instead of one long daisy chain.
Yes. The main port supports RS232 or RS485, so you can connect either a PC serial port or an RS485 controller.
Any DC supply from 9V to 40V, including standard 12V and 24V panel supplies.
Yes. The hub passes serial data at 300 bps to 115.2 Kbps, which suits common RS485 protocols such as Modbus RTU and BACnet MS/TP.
Yes. It operates from -40°C to 85°C and 5% to 95% humidity, with isolation and surge protection on each line.
